1. How do I apply to be a 1010 Model?
   Email a clear head and full body shot to kelv@1010models.com or post your photos to 1010Models, P.O Box 197, Riverton 6148. Please include your Height, Body Measurements and Contact details. Suitable models will be invited for an interview and test shoot.

   If you don't have any photos available, a brief interview may be conducted over the phone and a test shoot arranged if successful.

    

2. Where are all the models on the website?
   Our searchable database is now available for commercial clients, photographers and casting agents. Please register to obtain access.

    

3. How tall do I need to be?
   For catwalk modelling the minimum height for females is around 178cm and 182cm for males. For photography and promotions there is no height requirement.

    

4. Do I have to complete a modelling course to be a model?
   There is no requirement for you to complete a modelling course to get modelling work. However, some courses help build confidence and self esteem, which may contribute to a better performance during interviews.

   When considering a course, check the content carefully and ensure it's relevant to you. For example, it's of little benefit to do a catwalk course if you haven't met the minimum height, and are unlikely to get catwalk work.

   Courses with emphasis on public speaking, personal presentation and social interaction are recommended, as you can apply these life skills to everyday life.

    

5. Is there a Registration Fee?
   We do not believe in charging a registration fee. In fact, we want to pay you $$ if you're a suitable model.

   WARNING: Be careful of "agencies" who charge registration fees, use high pressure sales tactics to sell you a portfolio, or persuade you to do a course you don't really need. We advise everyone to shop around and get informed before making decisions.
